I am very excited to report that I know what books I will be reading for my pedagogy project. Originally I was going to do just Eric Carle books because I knew I had some of them in Spanish and English at my school library. When I went to pick them up I remembered that some of our doctor Suess books also come in spanish. This book will be a little longer so I am worries about my skills. But that is half of the purpose of this project; to show a more raw view of being a teacher and learner. To be okay with imperfections and to show how hard it is to learn a new language.
Interesting note: Sam I am is called Juan Ramon is Huevos Verdes con jamon. I know they changed the name so it was culturally applicable however I find it odd that they did not keep the format of yo soy Juan, Juan soy yo.
I am thinking of doing one more. But I don't want to get ahead of myself so I will start with these!
